About Kathleen
Who I am & What I do
I am a sexuality educator, trainer, program developer, and coach who has worked with diverse communities to promote sexual health and rights for over thirty-five years. Since 2008, I have provided sex and relationship coaching through Tell Kathleen Anything.
For twenty years, I taught undergraduate courses in Human Sexuality and Teaching about Sexuality at Indiana University in Indianapolis, where I live.
I have been an activist for sexual rights and literacy since I was a young adult. I’ve written dozens of curricula and manuals to promote healthy sexuality and sexual rights, for local and national/international groups, as well as sexuality curricula used nationally for the Carrera/Children’s Aid program. I have co-designed nationally recognized professional development offerings to promote healthy sexuality, including Sexual Attitude Reassessment workshops for the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists and the Society for the Scientific Study of Sex, as well as the Association of Planned Parenthood Leaders in Education. For 25 years I served as a national secular trainer for Our Whole Lives sexuality education.
I am a first-generation college graduate. In addition to my professional work, I enjoy painting and growing orchids.
